Step

So I just finished reading this fic which is a new Chinese classic written by the author of 48 Hours. It's beyond amazing. This story is really meaningful and the words and idioms the author used are of very deep meaning. The friendship written in this fic deeply touched my heart. I cried a lot because of this fic to be honest, I truly hope whatever happened in the fic will never ever happen to anyone. This fic gave me lots of feels and I swear it's a really, really, really good story. Step is one of the best fic I've read so far. Kris and Luhan time travelling, losing 15 years of their life each whenever they time travelled, saving Yixing... I really love this suspension. The ending made me cry a lot. It's not a sad or a happy ending. The way the author stopped the story, it's just right. It's up to you to decide whether it's sad or happy. This is the first time I read fics in Chinese. I always waited for the translations to come out. However, this time, I read the original. All I can say is, the English ones are really lacking. The Chinese version are far more meaningful and translations usually makes the fic lose its meaning. Not saying the translators are lacking though, I know they worked very hard to translate fics that gives off the same meaning as the original. And I'm thankful for their hard work. But because of the difference in languages, many parts of the story are written differently and hence, loses the right meaning. I'm really glad I have a common language with Exo-M. The author of these two amazing stories, taught us many life lessons through her plots and I really admire her for that. Mainly, the two stories taught us to not take things for granted and appreciate what you have before they are taken away from you. Be it your family, your friends or maybe even your lover, appreciate them now before you lose them and regret. "不知道身边的那几个人几时会离开。" I truly think Step is better than 48 Hours because it really showcases more on the friendship between the Exo members. I'm thankful for the birth of this fic.
