Another silence between Jihae and Gongchan.
"I......I don't know what to say......." said Jihae.
Gongchan didn't reply her, not knowing what to say either.
Jihae took a deep breath after they were in silence for a while, "I liked you before I met you... You've been my crush for a year. And honestly meeting you was like a dream to me.. And the day you confessed your feelings towards Jiyoon unnie, broke my heart in to pieces.. But I was so stupid I agreed on helping you, listening to every word you said. It was never your fault, I dropped myself to the hole and hurt myself...." she said.
"Jihae-ah......"
"But I get it, it wasn't meant to be. I was thinking I didn't want to lose you and stubbornly confessed. It was just more painful...." she bit her lips trying to hold her tears back.
Gongchan on the other hand, his heart suddenly turned and he started to feel everything. He doesn't know what it is but he had the urge to hug Jihae and didn't want to let her go and let her turn her back on him. He clenched his fist, holding his thoughts into action.
"But it's over now." she said.
Gongchan suddenly froze, staring at Jihae.
"It's over." Jihae repeated.
"I-I'm not going to see you again, and the feelings... are gone too." she forced a smile.
"So you won't have to be worried that you are responsible for it. I'm over it." she added.
"Ji-"
"It's getting dark, your hyungs are waiting inside the van. You should go home." she said cutting his words.
"But I-"
"The next time you see me....... I'll be stronger... I promise." said Jihae, she turned around and went inside the house.
Gongchan stood outside the house, frozen into place.
Sandeul came out from the van, calling Gongchan to get in.
"Chan, hey, let's go now? Said goodbye to your friends?" he said.
Gongchan just stared at the door that Jihae just went in and shut the door, it was replaying in his mind.
"Chan, are you okay? Did they say anything to you?" Sandeul tried to ask him again.
"I just lost her hyung..." "Huh?" "It's her......"
"What are you talking about?" said Sandeul worried.
"She's the girl I actually want.......... And now I've hurt her and she closes her heart for me...."
He stared at the door that seems to be never opening for him again.
